South Korean Skirt Steak

This is a recipe from the Atkins' website.  It's excellent! 

1 1/2 pounds skirt steak

2 green onions, finely chopped

4 garlic cloves, pushed through a press

3 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp rice wine vinegar or white wine

1 packet Splenda

... or ...

2 tbsp Pineapple DaVinci's syrup

  1. Place all ingredients in a resealable plastic bag; turn to coat.
  2. Refrigerate 1 hour, turning meat in bag once or twice. (Note:  Steak can be frozen at this point; thaw in bag when ready to use.)
  3. Preheat broiler.
  4. Remove meat from marinade; discard.
  5. Broil steak 3 to 4 minutes per side for medium doneness.
